My first research work was the result of my interest in energy conservation and I experimented with classical control systems techniques,Fuzzy logic and eventually Artificial Neural Networks. This resulted into my 1st research paper during 2nd year of my undergraduate studies at BITS Pilani. This paper was received very well and won best paper award in IEEE Indicon 2014. This triggered my interest in research and applied AI motivating me to join Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. At IISc, I was able to recieve research grants from GoI and forge collabortions with IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Roorkee and ISRO which facilitate my work on computational design, experimental material processing and led to 5 journal publications. After a wonderful stint at IISc, I pursued MBA from Indian School of Business, got my first flavour of finance from some of the best professors there like Prof. Bhagwan and was greatly influenced by Prof.Sanjiv Das's course on FinTech. Post ISB, I took up a Management role with Amazon but gradually moved into Research Science and currently work as a Sr. Research Scientist in a Global Science Team.
